This is a fantastic period vintage dress, truly one of a kind, in a wearable size! It features a straight under dress of scarf silk in navy blue with a stylized tree print in gold and red. The over skirt is appliqued in a way I have never seen to the under dress- a sort of scalloped design. This design is also on the cuffs- nice detail! The body of the dress is a nice substantial silk.

The same printed silk peeks out at the front of the bodice and on the collar. There are two long ties at the neck. There is no label, unlined. The hem is out in the photo but it will be in when you get it. The price reflects the rarity, condition and size of this piece of historical fashion.
